“I have taken a great photograph, how do I resize it for submission?”

In Photoshop or other image editing software, simply go to IMAGE and IMAGE SIZE.  Click on the WIDTH or HEIGHT box (whichever is largest) and change the figure to 900 pixels. So, for example, if you have an original image which has a width of 1600 and a height of 1067 pixels, then you change only the width figure to 900 (please ensure that the “constrain proportions” box is checked).

Save your image as a JPEG file.  Do not attempt to send us TIFF, RAW or any other formats. Do not compress or ZIP your files before sending.

When saving the file, make sure that your name appears in the file name.  So, if your name is Mike Smith, then the file should look something like this:
